A first of its kind, perhaps the only seminar series in Cyprus targeted at secondary education students. It focuses on the learning, analyzing and applying the techniques of contemporary composers, as these are currently evolving throughout the world. 

A necessary tool for any music student (of secondary and university level) who wishes to deeply comprehend various composition techniques, and gain profound knowledge on the evolution of classical music, from the beginning of the 20th century until our day.


A historical retrospective to the music of early contemporary composers, such as Schönberg, Stravinsky, Webern, to the Darmstadt School, Stockhausen, Cage, Ligeti as well as the most recent, Furrer, Saunders, Aperghis. 

In-depth analysis of their works, stylistic approaches, and compositional language. Application of those, with the aid of audiovisual means, scores and discussions, as well as through practical exercises, onto the students' personal compositions.
